Merry Christmas  &  Happy Skew Year to everyone!

Skew Siskin will be back on the road late February / March 2004 for approx. 14 shows, starting in Germany and heading to France.
Confirmed dates & locations will be announced here soon.

Nina recently spent time in Paris (Dec. 15th - 17th) to be interviewed for various French magazines and radio stations: "Hard & Heavy" (10 years anniversary), "Rock Hard", "Radio One", "Rolling Stone", "Rock Sound", "Rock & Folk", "Hard Rock" and more. With "Rolling Stone" and "Rock Hard" magazines, you'll find a Skew Siskin song on their included CD's. The interviews are scheduled for January, February and March 2004, all around France.

It is rumored that Skew Siskin are on the bill of the "Bang Your Head Festival" in 2004. The confirmed date will be announced here pretty soon .

The single "The Goddess" will be released in January 2004 with a mini DVD that includes the video clip for the title.

In the December issue of "'Break Out" magazine (Germany), you'll get a two page poster-calendar of Skew Siskin for Dec. 2003 / Jan. 2004, a two page interview and a CD with a 13 minute Skew Siskin spot, where Nina talks about the band, the music, the members and shooting the video "The Goddess".

More interviews (December issues) with the band plus some album reviews can be found in "Heavy Oder Was" and "Hammer" magazines (Germany).

Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead) was in Berlin between Dec 15th & 18th for another recording session with Skew Siskin to do a second track for his upcoming solo album. The track titles are: "Stand Upon The Mountain" and "Don't Matter To Me", both written by Lemmy and performed by Skew Siskin with Lemmy on bass & vocals.

Video clip news:

The 20 hour video-clip shooting for the first single "The Goddess" went very successfull and smooth this week Thursday 20th in the "Columbia Halle Berlin" and will be finalized, with additonal live shots, next Tuesday during the live set. You'll find some camera men running around on- & offstage. Maybe you're lucky and you'll get caught on film as well! Time to wear your coolest outfit.

Single & Video & Booklet Artwork

Finally, one song made it! The first single of the new album is "The Goddess". 

Skew Siskin is currently working on a video clip for the song "The Goddess". The colors and vibes will be in the direction of the cover artwork. As of now the director looks for impressive locations to shoot sequences and is planning to shoot during the first show in Berlin at the venue 'Columbia Halle' to capture the band’s relentless energy on stage, as well as some backstage scenes. 

Nina about the booklet artwork: "A lot of people inspired me to design a whole new world to live and breathe in. Movies like "Strange Days" and "The Fifth Element" for example, or scenarios from "Joan of Arc" (with Milla Jovovich) always fascinated me. That's how I created the new style and my make up. Also, queen 'Amidala' of "Star Wars" inspired me to create a new hair style. Get ready for the new “Skew Siskin” with quicker, cleaner action.”

An update at the tour date section has been made.

Hamburg / "Docks" is sold out and in Cologne the show has been  moved from "E-Werk" to "Palladium"

The band is live on air tonight for 45 minutes, German time 20:30, at one of the biggest radio stations. Radio Fritz' "Stahlwerk" is on every sunday 20:00-22:00.

rock magazine "Break Out".  Skew Siskin's album is  one of nine "best album's of the month" !

The album will  be released on 24th November, one day before the tour starts.
